ALVAREZ TELLS BOARD TO KEEP ALL SCHOOLS OPEN
Schools Superintendent Frank Alvarez tells the members of the Montclair Board of Education that he recommends that none of the district's 11 schools be closed as a cost saving measure to close a projected $6.7 million budget gap. Alvarez' comments came at the board's public meeting in the atrium of the George Inness Annex of Montclair High School.
