The Halloween season appropriate Zombie Run fundraiser held by Vernon PAL Girls Lacrosse was held this past Saturday night, October 27th, at Maple Grange Park. Runners donated five dollars and a canned good that will be donated to local food pantries in order to experience a run around the track as Zombies chased them down. According to David Riker, the event organizer, approximately 175 runners came out for the fun and they hope to make this an annual tradition.
