Caption: Damage from Hurricane Sandy remains evident in Jefferson Township on the fourth day since she came blowing through. Power remains out for most of the township and with only few options, residents started to travel in a search for food and fuel. The roads remain dangerous and a handful of stores were open under generator power to offer them relief. The township had two "warming stations" open, at the Senior Center and FD Co#2 where water and charging stations for electronics were available. A pole top is suspended in the middle of Cozy Lake Road. This was the only connection residents had from Jefferson to reach Route 23 on Thursday. (PHOTO - ANTHONY LAWSON)
