This is the site of the recently completed pipeline by Tennessee Gas Pipeline near Lake Lookover in West Milford. Environmental groups are giving a tour of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline project in West Milford and the site of a proposed extension that would run into Mahwah. They argue that the company's expansion plans will lead to a repeat of last year's debris infiltration at Lake Lookover happening in the Monksville Reservoir, a key source of water for New Jersey residents.
