NUTLEY HOLDS PEP RALLY, DEDICATION FOR REFURBISHED MONSIGNOR OWENS FIELD: Commissioner Mauro Tucci walks on the new artificial turf covering Monsignor Owens field with his granddaughter Lucia and Rev. David LeDuc, who, along with Fr. Ernie Rush, blessed the field during opening ceremonies.
The pep rally and dedication ceremony was held on Sunday, Sept. 23. It featured school athletes, cheerleaders, and a performance by the Nutley High School Band. The town also provide hot dogs and zeppole for attendees.
