Caption: For a few weeks around the holidays it looked like Jefferson Township was in for a tough winter. Back to back snow storms that kept the ground white enough to reflect the daytime heat, dropping the nighttime temperatures well below freezing and turning the surface of Lake Hopatcong solid. A new layer of water creates an almost balmy view of the main lake, with the glow of a coming sunset developing. (PHOTO - ANTHONY LAWSON)
