Wayne, NJ 12/1/12 JEWERLY: Presents on display during the seventh annual Starlight Children’s Foundation Holiday Party at the Grand Chalet. The event featured breakfast, music, Santa, and holiday presents to some 200 seriously ill children from the tri-state area. Gifts are donated by Grand Chalet patrons. The party is part of Starlight’s Great Escapes program, which hosts events on a monthly basis to help sick children and their families make vital connections with other families, experience respite from medical routines, renew their sense of hope and help children break free from the isolation that often accompanies an illness. Water heaters are commonly destroyed during floods and have been found roadside in the wake of storm events in Little Falls. Mayor Darlene Post, who is also working on the product, has agreed to distribute 75 free sleeves to residents when the product comes out in 2013
