About 80 people fill the seats in the ballroom in the Verona Community Center ballroom, Tuesday night, Nov. 27 as The Verona Zoning Board of Adjustment continues its hearing on a developer's proposal to blast into the rocky terrain at Bloomfield Avenue and Westview Road in order to construct a three-story building. The first floor would house up to 4 retail stores, and the top two floors would consist of 14 apartments total. Residents who live nearby admantly oppose the developer's plans - primarily because they include 90 full working days of rock blasting.
